Pardon me, your time slip is showing

I learned this week that sitting down and planing the week out is all well and good. However no amount of planning will do any good when unexpected situations arrive. No alarm will help get a person where they need to be if they are not in the position to hear the alarm.

Two things to help with this. The first is having the grace to understand that some times things just don’t go as planned, and that some times things need to slide for a little bit. The second is having the self discipline to not shrug off things just because the scheduled time is past. Just because something is a little late, doesn’t make it okay to let it be very late.
