Welcome to IndieZen
Deadlines, firm yet flexible.
As is common in many fields of innovative practice, we have had to re-evaluate some of our deadlines and adjust for the previously unforeseen circumstances that have bubbled to the surface.
Game development, as most of us know, is a very involved, technical, and experimental practice. From the ZOSS perspective, the most advanced feature of the IndieZen offering will be the World Builder application, Zen Worlds, that will facilitate access to the underlying technologies included in and ported to the Zen Framework. As far as this author knows, there has never been an application for game creation that is as intuitive and complex as Zen Worlds. Unfortunately the majority of the technical details of Zen Worlds are Classified. Therefore, I am unable to discuss technical issues here.
As for deadlines, I want to make it clear we are back on schedule. There were some details that needed to be added in to the process at this stage to ensure that Zen Worlds will provide the highest quality development experience, and the most stable development environment we can offer. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with the Indie community. So keep reading and keep sharing. We love to hear from the community so keep the suggestions coming and we will keep you interests and needs in mind as we build your next development tool box.
