…ouch.
Seriously though, today I saw a spider that looked a bit like one of those head humpers from Half-Life, of which I have taken a picture of (see to the picture to the right). Contrary to belief, however, this is not a head crab! It is, in fact, just a spider. A pretty decent sized one too. The picture to the right is the spider at different zooms of my camera (I was kind of playing around with it). It is most likely a common house spider, but I am no arachnologist.
On a totally unrelated topic, I have completed the basic functionality of ToriStats, a Facebook application I am writing to show off and share your Toribash score with others. This has not been a very hard endeavor so far, but has surely taught me the essentials of object oriented programming (and my does it save in coding time!), as well as showing me just how nicely JSON delivers data.
In the coming weeks I will make the application available for any and all Toribashians who use Facebook. If you have any ideas regarding this or future Facebook applications that you would like to see, feel free to let me know! I can promise that I will at least consider them.
